Timing Crossings

• The clock starts as you leave your launch point and stops as you arrive at your landing point - time from 'Sand-to-Sand'.
  
  
• 'Sand-to-Sand':
  Time between realistic Launch and Landing points for your craft i.e. a beach, slipway etc.
  Clock start/stop is taken while on the water but as close as safely possible to the launch/landing points.
  
  
• Times are not to be taken from harbour mouths, entrance to bays, rocks, headlands, buoys etc - only from the launch/landing spots.
  
  
• Any attempts 'timed short' will be extrapolated to give a time to the landing point.
  If you stop a long way short we may consider your attempt incomplete/invalid.
