Lightweight Boat Constructions

Standard Construction for most sea kayaks is Polyester Resin with Chopped Strand Mat (CSM – or ‘fibreglass’) – a ‘glass’ kayak. Polyester/CSM combination is easy to work with from a manufacturers point of view and relatively cheap.
